I have ...I hope things are back to normal for you! I have to say, I look at the large trees in our yard in a very different way. I know the shade is good for the electric bill but I'm not sure it's worth it at times like this. I'm so glad you all were ok and no major damage incurred.

I've never knit with beads at all either. I'm interested in hearing your experiences! It was our first real hurricane to go through since moving to the east coast, I don't need to experience it again anytime soon!!

I know what you mean about blog readership, I too, like Lauren will continue even if I am the only one that reads it. I like to have a documentation of my hooked rugs.

Anyway glad you are safe!
~CammieCammiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11532154904651923372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17780718.post-56468304785087548462016-10-16T21:18:52.512-04:002016-10-16T21:18:52.512-04:00Your shawlette is beautiful!
So happy you evacuate...Your shawlette is beautiful!
So happy you evacuated and came back to an unscathed home. So scary.
I think blog readership is dwindling but I plan to continue though views are much less. I find it much more personal than Facebook.
Hugs :)
LaurenRugs and Pugshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17084387971128823025noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17780718.post-44141912040157921632016-10-16T18:59:37.643-04:002016-10-16T18:59:37.643-04:00Oh Mel, I'm so glad you and yours are all safe...Oh Mel, I'm so glad you and yours are all safe and sound! How scary! So great that you could evacuate farther inland to your parent's place and all. That tree --- yikes! We were home for Sandy. A huge evergreen tree (norfolk pine?) of some sort fell in the evening -- I heard it go and it scared me so so much! Missed the house by inches. And yes, being without power is a pain too. I feel for you -- I was the same way, not being able to concentrate on anything at all.

Your knitting is beautiful! I've never tried beading before. That's a someday thing for me.
