Hello out there in blogland!
Running thru my blog list I see some of my favorites are still posting.
I use Facebook but in my opinion it never replaced blogging.
Im still stitching, knitting, rug hooking and doing needlepoint too.
thankfully my folks are still doing well, living independently and enjoying life in their mid 80s.
however life does keep changing for all of us.
i just replaced the header on my blog with a recent photo of a 12/31 last finish of the year. He's St NICHOLAS III by Tish Murphy. I did the face in a class with Laura Pierce from california. The rest of the color plan was mine using stashed wools from various teachers. i want to have finished as a big cushion. its hooked in cut 3 thru 6.
Speaking of rug hooking, the 27th Off The Ocean rug camp starts on friday. YAY!!! I will be taking Diane Stoffel again. I 'll come back soon and show you my rug.
i cant figure out how to post photos from my ipad so I 'll have to work on that and come back soon.
happy new year to you all!

So really glad you are posting again. Have a great time at rug camp.
Cathy
Happy to have you back. I agree that FB does NOT satisfy a rug hooker like blogging does. I've had Diane as a teacher before and she is great. I too live independently in my middle 80's Here's hoping you don't disappear again and will share your progress on your camp rug as well as the rug show.
PS. Do you have a PC? If so, send the iPad pictures to your email then you can copy and past them on your blog.
Thank you for the tips Saundra! You go girl, living independently is super. I hope to get photos and post the rugs on display and my project.
Thank you for the warm welcome back Cathy
Me again, Saundra of Woodland Junction. I'd love it if you'd put me on your side bar. www.woodlandjunction.blogspot.com
